Enter a hexagonal world that pulses to the music while using your mouse and visual memory to navigate.

This game features a song by Rob Hughes of the Boston area band Fishing The Sky. I ran into Rob at a show of his over at Precinct, a bar in Somerville, MA. I absolutely loved his music and afterwards asked him if he’d ever want to have his music used in the soundtrack of a video game. In fact, he was interested and a few months later I got his permission to use one of his tracks off of his album, Thank You for this game. I think it works really well with the feeling I’m going for. I added beat detection to the backgrounds in the game so they react to the music and sound effects.

I also used the wonderful art program Hexels to create almost all the assets for this game. Check it out if you want a fresh way to create certain types of geometric art.

This game also marks my first entry for January 2014 in the One Game A Month project!
